Google API Services User Data Policy Disclosure
Synapse Notes' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Synapse Notes ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and System by Design AB.
2. Description of Service
Synapse Notes is an intelligent knowledge management tool that provides note-taking, task management, visual sketching, and AI-driven insights.
- AI Features: The App uses Google Gemini and Imagen APIs. These services are subject to Google's Enterprise terms.
- Offline Access: The App is designed with an offline-first approach.
3. User Accounts & Security
To use Synapse Notes, you must log in via a Google account.
- Encryption Key: You are solely responsible for backing up your unique encryption key. We cannot recover your data if you lose this key.
4. Data Ownership & Limited Use
You retain full ownership of all data you input into the App.
- Google API Compliance: Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy.
- No Data Training: Your content is never used to train general AI models.
5. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden.
