Delete your Synapse Notes account

Delete in the app

The fastest way to delete your account is inside Synapse Notes:

1. Sign in to Synapse Notes.
2. Open Profile.
3. Go to Settings.
4. Select Delete Account and confirm the deletion.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the App, send an email to info@systembydesign.se with the subject Synapse Notes account deletion request.

Include the email address used for your Synapse Notes account. We may ask for additional verification before deleting an account to prevent unauthorized deletion.

What is deleted

• Your Firebase authentication account.
• Your notes, tasks, folders, filters, settings, and encrypted cloud content stored in our Firebase project.
• Your uploaded images and attachments stored in our Firebase Storage project where technically available to the deletion flow.
• Your customer metadata stored for Synapse Notes subscription entitlement.

What may remain

• Files you synced to your own Google Drive remain in your Google Drive until you delete them there.
• Files or notes you exported, downloaded, copied, or shared may remain wherever you or the recipient stored them.
• Payment provider records may be retained by Stripe, Google Play, banks, or tax systems according to their legal obligations.
• Limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal, accounting, dispute, or compliance purposes.
